I recently adopted a hamster from the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society back in May of this year, and unfortunately due to financial issues and new apartment rules, I am currently unable to further take care him. The hamster's name is Sammy, fairly young at four months old, is golden brown/white in color and is about the size of my palm. He's relatively skittish and would need to be further tamed/bonded with. [If you're worried about him being lonely, Syrian Hamsters are also solitary/territorial animals, so please keep that in mind.] Sammy alone can be picked up for free, **However I'm offering a forty-gallon tank with a small stand, wheel, water bottle/stand, bowl, and food, for fifty-dollars go with him to his new home.
