Ok, my music sucks. It's pretentious. It's not party rock. It's too difficult for drummers who "just wanna play, man". It's not too difficult for drummers who took lessons and were told to count......one-y and a two-y and a....it's really not that hard..... I'm looking to pay someone to work out a list of songs I have, possibly even unfinished loops for me to sample, but mostly arranged, pop formatted material that.....has quirks....not like Syd Barrett but if you're familiar, that would help. Rhythmic stuff. I can't definitively compose it- maybe you can.... a bar of 6, then a bar of 7, or call it 13, or just feel it with your genius instincts. Ok, so, you need to do more than just "like" the music to get paid.....or don't like it, but I want recordings. Record in your personalized booth at home, or come to my house. Use my kit options, or sound good with your excellent equipment. Seriously, without a HARD deadline, you could make a few hundred...many hundreds....a few thousand? Mmmm, yeah, I'm not rich- you tell me what it's worth to you. A FEW thousand, maybe.... The goal being to build and complete the song around coherent but maybe flexible arrangements. Now, I really WANT to like drummers..... at least one. A good start would be to NOT anonymously respond and ask for samples. If you're seriously interested, being a person helps. I live northwest of town. I WILL send samples to someone who IS someone. I expect to at least have to meet and jam though stuff before it gets going, so be within commuting distance to metro west Boston/ lower Mack valley. I could/should have a bass player on board to help drop ones while we connect on a feel. Am I asking you to join a band? NOOOOOOOOO! No, I wouldn't think of it. I'm not living in a dream world where drummers have time to dedicate themselves to this....this is strictly business. Thanks.
