Hiring for Security Position at the Hamilton Building (Will Train) WARM SEASON: Monday - Friday: shift 4:30-10:00 pm or possibly midnight depending on weather Opportunity for more hours on the weekends if clients have weekend activities COLD SEASON: Monday-Friday: Shift 4:30-11:30 or Midnight Saturday and Sunday Hours also available during the winter season. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES: Requirements: -Must be at least 18 years of age. -Must be a US citizen or authorized to legally work in the United States. -Must be punctual and dependable. -Must have reliable transportation and have the flexibility to work additional hours in emergencies. -Must have good communication and report writing skills. -Must have a professional image and no criminal felony convictions. -Must be able to work independently. JOB DESCRIPTION: Includes but is not limited to: -Answering the phone at the front desk and directing guests to offices until tenants have left for the day; -Patrolling facility or manning posts to provide security presence; -Attention to detail and ability to evaluate situations; -Securing the building; locking doors and gates and monitoring equipment; -Contacting the appropriate individuals if problems arise; helping to minimize damage if there are problems until proper repairs can be made - for example: placing buckets under leaks or emptying buckets if necessary, trying to locate where the leak may be coming from...
