Description
What is painting your vision of mental health/illness? You are describing to me your inner world with mental health/illness. It can also be your experiences, your point of view on your own, or of it altogether. This can be your advocacy of it, representative of your support/you supporting others, etc. The options are limitless and your vision is always unique. This is whatever you are picturing that to you, signifies mental health/illness. This should be something you look at daily and feel a sense of joy. Whether you are reminding yourself not to be afraid of your mental illness, reminding yourself to take care of yourself/others, whether you just want to see the physical manifestation of your views or experiences of mental health/illness. I will deliver a unique painting that is as close to your vision as possible. Each time I sit down to work on your painting there is a process of cleaning, setting up, planning, drying, etc. In addition, I am usually working on multiple canvases at a time so this can elongate the process a lot more. Your painting is a priority to me and will be delivered on time. Can I request more than one painting at a time? Absolutely. However, I am but one human and unless there is a rush on it, your additional painting may have a later delivery date, you will decide which painting you would like to receive first. Can I give you a sketch? YES! It is YOUR vision. I may be creating this for you, which does mean I am making it special for you. But do not forget this is your painting. You want to see on your canvas, what your mind feels and sees. Tell me what it is and I will meet your vision and feelings with an open mind and much love How much detail can I request? Uhhh, have you seen my eyeball? I mean, not MY eyeball but my painting of it? Each and every line in that iris is a stroke. The more details the better. Again, this is your painting. The more you give me, the more I can give you. Can I request prints? Yes, you can. It will be an additional cost to make prints of your original painting. If you would like the print(s) framed, shipped to different locations, this will be an additional cost. Am I receiving the original? Yes! As much as I hate to part with it, you will be receiving the original painting. Prints are extra and if for some reason you prefer a print over receiving the original, I will accommodate at no extra cost with an additional free print. Is there anything that is too graphic, uncomfortable, or "inappropriate"? No. Simply, no. Your mind, your emotions. You are entitled to every bit of it (your mind, emotions, thoughts, inner world, your own perspective, and more) without being judged. So, no. What if I am unhappy with my painting? In the unfortunate event that you do not like your painting, or feel the connection to it that you should, I will first adjust it and if it does not connect with you yet, redo it altogether. Your vision & experience with mental health is significant and I won't give up on your vision. WHY do you only have one painting showcased? Currently, I am digitally processing all of my paintings. My plan is not only to upload and create more gigs here but also to create social media and a website to showcase my portfolio in depth. This particular painting is the physical manifestation of my experience with mental health. DO NOT: spam, rude, or send intentionally offensive emails. They are unwelcome. Your origin email is traceable, please don't embarrass yourself. This is a harmless post advocating for mental health expression and support.
