Description

Please help stop unwanted litters that end up in shelters. All shelters are overcrowded and some are kill shelters. Many innocent animals are euthanized every day. There are a lot of rescue groups trying to save these poor animals, but there just aren't enough people or groups to do it. The reality is that there are way too many backyard breeders and puppy mills that keep animals in horrific conditions. Abused, neglected, and basically bred to death. Please do your part and don't breed. Please spay/neuter all pets. Adopt don't shop. And there's no such thing as a "designer" breed. They're just mixed breeds with fancy names and have higher price tags. YES...your Labradoodle, Goldendoodle, Chiweenie, Chipoo, Chorkie, etc. is actually a mutt - a cute mutt - but a mutt, nonetheless. Nearly 7 million pets end up in shelters every year in North America. About 3 million never find homes and face euthanasia - that's 11,000 adoptable pets a day. Be a responsible pet owner and spay/neuter. If you can't afford it, there are places that offer low cost spay/neuter surgery. Please research and reach out to one of those if you need help. The KY Humane Society has the SNIP clinic that offers low cost surgeries and financial assistance. Thank you!
