JOB DESCRIPTION: Expanding Company searching for individuals with or without experience to work in the New York Metro Area. Self Employed contractors with van, tools, helpers, WC and Liability Insurances please feel free to apply. Work consists of driving a company vehicle from Holbrook, NY into Manhattan. • All installations are to be done according to plans or written instructions provided. • Install matting in or around revolving doors • Install matting inside elevators. • Install edging in mats via instant glue or stitched. • Pick-ups and Deliveries of installations. • Room for advancement for right minded individuals. Our Ideal Candidates MUST: • MUST have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record. • Junior Mechanic, mechanics preferred. • Be presentable. • Speak, Read and Understand written instructions in English. • Read and Interpret drawings and/or written instructions. • Be dependable by showing up and leaving for jobs on time. • Be reliable by completing work assigned. • Have knowledge utilizing GPS to get to destinations. • Have knowledge of Commercial Vehicles restrictions and parking rules in New York City. • Able to lift rolls or carpet assisted weighing up to 350 lbs. • Be able to handle electronic paperwork. • Have a reliable cellular phone. • Be able to work on a rotation schedule days or nights Monday through Saturday. *Flexibility with schedule is ideal* Compensation: • Pay starts at 150.00 + per day worked in New York City without experience. • Experienced Individuals will be compensated according to their skill level and pay will be set as such.
