The need for infrastructure repairs for America is clearly overdue and it would be terrific if both parties would agree to support it. I thought they had reached an agreement that would help fix our roads and bridges and so much more, but the Democrats felt it was time to leverage all sorts of "other" programs before they would completely agree to the first. When Republicans balked at these new "conditions" Sen. Schumer and others were quick to blame the Republicans for holding up these repairs and pushed to end the filibuster rules. Now Sen. Schumer is pushing a vote on this "secondary" infrastructure bill - that has YET TO BE WRITTEN. I am sorry - this is not how our Government is suposed to do business.
