The Details: • Sun-Thurs, 8pm-4:30am • Located at UC Merced • $16.00 per hour + Benefits • Starts immediately! The Spirit of the Position: The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for all janitorial responsibilities for shuttles, warehouse and office ensuring they are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis. Principal Job Duties: - General knowledge of cleaning/janitorial duties. - Interior and some exterior cleaning of 7-8 shuttles per day. - General cleaning of warehouse, office & restroom. - Ability to lift 50-60 lbs. on a regular basis. - Responsible for the security of company issued property / tools. - Responsible for immediately reporting of issues inside and outside of shuttle. - Responsible for a neat and careful appearance at all times, Company to supply work shirts, employee responsible for proper non-skid work shoes and jeans, no shorts. - Be aware of proper OSHA safety requirements and company safety policies. - Must have a valid California driver’s license. - Must be available for late shifts ending at (4AM). Shifts which may or may not include Saturday/Sunday work. - Responsible for ensuring all daily duties on maintenance checklist are completed efficiently and timely. - Perform all duties assigned.
