While I’m not trying to argue both countries have the same background and history there are some similarities: 1. South Africa has huge numbers of immigrants—illegal 2. South Africa adopted a Marxist like government (Mandela for example was a member of the ANC) 3. South Africa has accepted the “Rainbow” coalition concept of LGBTQ, WOKE, Race Theory, Socialism etc. as it’s core values 4. South Africa has rampant corruption in officials 5. South Africa uses racism as an official tool (affirmative action) 6. South Africa is relatively weak on crime (which is historically high) and generally has adopted other anti-western ideals. In summary South Africa has embraced the “left”.
