FOOD SERVICE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Beniton Building Services – Meridian, ID We are seeking a maintenance technician to perform scheduled, preventative maintenance as well as emergency maintenance on commercial restaurant equipment, fixtures and systems for a national fast food franchise. The position requires the ability to perform scheduled maintenance as well as troubleshoot and diagnose required repairs on fryers, grills, refrigerators, freezers and other related equipment. General maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning repairs; as well as carpentry, painting and general cleaning tasks related to restaurant and commercial properties is desired. Requirements: Ability to diagnose, repair and prevent issues on a wide variety of food service equipment Completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors Access and complete work orders including notes on services provided Submit time sheets and expense reports Work independently Obtain necessary materials and supplies to complete task Must be able to maintain a positive attitude while working through complex issues Excellent attendance and dependability Maintain Beniton safety standards Must be able to work on a rotating, on-call basis for emergency repairs which may include nights, weekends and holidays as needed Skills and Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED with minimum of 2 years building operation/maintenance experience Experience working with general hand and power tools The ability to lift up to 50 pounds Position requires the ability to work on site, both indoors and outdoors which may include adverse weather conditions Ability to stand for extended periods Computer knowledge Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving history Must pass a background check and drug test prior to hire We offer a full benefits package including: Medical (PPO & HSA) - Employee premium paid be employer Paid Time Off Dental Vision Medical Dependent Care Flex Accounts (FSA) 401(K) with employer match Company provided vehicle, tools and cell phone Salary: Commensurate with experience Job Type: Full-time
