L.W. Meyer, Inc. is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their growing team in Madison, WI. L.W. Meyer, Inc. is a full-service contractor supply with four locations across Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. We supply hundreds of customers in general construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security with power tools, hardware, safety supplies, and much more. As our Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the products they need. The ideal candidate is an energetic, customer service-minded individual that enjoys working in a team atmosphere and can thrive on new challenges each day. This position would report directly to and work closely with the Warehouse Manager. Job Duties: • Pulls and stages outbound orders (i.e., pick tickets and/or branch transfers) • Prepares outbound UPS as necessary to ensure items reliably leave on time each day • Unload product from carrier(s) using a forklift and/or pallet jacks as necessary • Check in product and match to appropriate P.O.’s • Move product into correct spots for delivery and/or stock • Assist in rearranging warehouse to ensure proper efficiencies are met • Assist in bin-location process • Play a role in keeping the warehouse clean by putting away product and sweeping/cleaning up trash and pallets • Inspect and reports equipment, supplies, and/or material issues with Warehouse Manager • Participate in cycle counting • Complete miscellaneous tasks as designated by Warehouse Manager Requirements: • Ability to multi-task, plan, and manage time well • Must be physically capable of frequently lifting up to 50lbs and occasionally 100lbs • Able to drive a forklift or willing to be trained • High school diploma or GED preferred
