Heartland Mutual Insurance Company will be hiring a Loss Control Specialist to work in a 9 county area of west central Wisconsin. This job entails: scheduling appointments, conducting Loss Control reviews which includes taking pictures, measurements of buildings, documentation of heating, electrical, roof conditions of buildings, preparing reports and sending the reports to the appropriate persons. The applicant should have the following qualifications: Excellent personal/telephone/written communication skills Basic office skills with a proficiency in Word and Excel Time Management skills Driving record must be clean of major violations for 5 years Dependable insured vehicle Physically able to inspect, measure and photograph various buildings on even and uneven terrain Construction background preferred but not required Insurance experience preferred but not required Ability to obtain an Insurance Intermediary License required 30 to 40 hours per week Please send resume and cover letter by August 15, 2021 by email or by mail to: HMIC, PO Box 35, Ettrick WI 54627; Attention Lorraine
