Need a retired, mechanical engineer for a non-profit project

I'm writing to ask for your help. I run a small, self-funded, animal rescue, where I provide a home for some discarded farm animals - geese, horses, and cows. It's been in existence since 2004, and friends and I provide volunteer labor to keep it going. I pay for this via a computer consulting gig, and have accepted no outside money to keep it going. After 15 years of doing without, we saved our money and bought a used John Deere backhoe. As it was used, there were some issues, but we did the maintenance on the unit ourselves to get it up to operating condition. We need to design a special attachment for this unit. We've analyzed the problem, and know the design constraints, but we have no design skills to put something together. We'd like to find a retired mechanical engineer who might be interested in working with us on this project. We can do the heavy lifting associated with the project, but need someone who can direct us.
