Description

A course on responsible boating is sponsored by the RI Department of Environmental Management (DEM). This course is required for any jet ski operation regardless of age and for persons born after January 1, 1986 wishing to operate a motor vessel with 10 H.P. or more. The concluding "Challenge Exam" is required to gain the Rhode Island Boating Safety Card (License). This one-day in-person classroom course will take place from 9:00am-5:00pm in room 300 at the DEM building (Foundry Complex) in Providence, RI.
