Drummer Looking for Musicians - New Wave/Post-Punk/Alternative

I play drums and have been playing in a lot of bands since I was in 6th grade but am not really doing very much now and would like to consider finding some people to play with. I'm 51 years old if it makes a difference. Grew up in the 80s and am a Gen-Xer. Age is not a big issue for me; but I'd like to play with people who are at least adults. I think I'd have a preference for playing with people who are at least in their 30s but am open. I like a lot of post-punk and new wave bands. Jesus and Mary Chain, Echo and the Bunnymen, Men Without Hats, Flock of Seagulls, Baltimora, Frankie, Human League, Pet Shop Boys, Love and Rockets, Bauhaus, Joy Division, Siouxsie and the Banshees. Also lots of other indie/psych/alternative. I like trippy/heady stuff. Not into the jam band scene but I like improvising, doing heady stuff. I also have a bass and a classical guitar and like to screw around with those and come up with chords and ideas; but I don't write any lyrics. I haven't written anything down but can come up with a lot of stuff off the top of my head and could probably get something down if I was to collaborate with somebody.
