Job Description: We are looking for a warehouse lead to train to become Assistant Manager of our Houston Warehouse. The ideal candidate has many years of warehousing experience and has been a supervisor in a past job. You will directly participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and preparing orders while ensuring all company policies and procedures are being followed. The goal is to maximize efficiencies, minimize and eliminate errors, increase profitability, and provide excellent customer service. Must be reliable, must be able to pass a drug test and background check and must have a Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record with minimal to no points. Responsibilities Forklift Experience REQUIRED. Must be able to use a sit down forklift and safely operate in narrow aisles. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, crate, label, ship) Installing heat strips, helping with and loading customer pickups, unloading/loading trucks, putting away inventory, cleaning warehouse Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) Perform inventory counts Keep a clean and safe working environment Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations Skills Proven working experience as a warehouse worker with supervisor skills through past experiences Forklift Experience Familiarity with modern warehousing practices, methods, tools and equipment Good organizational and time management skills Ability to lift heavy objects of at least 50lbs High school degree preferred Full time position Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with seasonal overtime pay opportunities.
