PS Audio is a great company to work for. The main responsibilities of the Shipping Assistant are to support the Shipping Manager with most activities including the shipping and receiving of all goods and products, packing, palletizing, stocking Finished Goods(FG) bins, operating a forklift and stacker, and interacting with other departments as required to complete these tasks. Essential Functions • Pack all finished products with attention to detail • Be sure all finished products are clean and that all accessories (cables, manuals, etc.) are included in the packaging • High potential testing (Hi Pot) • Backup for RMA receiving and packing, including photographing units and filling out RMA Shipping Content Forms • Help keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and easy to find any part needed within 5 minutes • Inventory counts, as needed Other Functions • Recycle, dispose of trash as needed • Assist in warehouse maintenance, with tasks such as labeling shelves, etc. Critical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Careful attention to warehouse safety • Basic math and reading skills are essential • Legible handwriting • Ability to work well with others • Experience and ability to safely use a forklift and a stacker Mental and physical demands of the job • Weekend and overtime may be required to complete weekly shipping goals • It is required to lift/move up to 110 lbs.
