Veterans Stand Together (VST) is a 501 (C) (3) organization that empowers veterans/reservists and their communities through cooperation, support and advocacy. We have multiple programs available through our Homeless Outreach/Mental Health Division, Vocational Division, and Housing Division. Our vocational division offers many excellent training courses across various industries. We are offering no cost training with our Professional Security Officer program. This (80) hour course provides certifications and training in: *CA Guard Card (Powers to Arrest - 4 hours /Weapons of Mass Destruction & Terrorism Awareness - 4 hours) *AB2880 (Additional 32 hrs of training): Tactical Communications & Its Significance - 4 hours Public Relations - 4 hours Observation & Documentation – 4 hours Report Writing – 4 Hours Legal Liability/ Criminal & Civil– 4 hours Arrest, Search & Seizure, Handcuffing – 4 hrs Crowd Control – 4 hrs O/C pepper Spray- 4 hours Firearms Training\ SB1626 & much more! Save your GI Bill! We source allocated funding that you earned through your service. Training is free for veterans and those that qualify. VST partners with multiple local and state employers and provides lifetime job placement and career services.
