2 Sweet Kitty siblings in need of rehoming

Description
Due to the perfect storm of events in our lives, we are saddened to realize we can no longer keep our 1.5-year old cat siblings. Lyra (F) and Orion (M), named after the constellations in the night sky because of their stray white hairs scattered through their dark black fur, are the sweetest kitties. They have been together since birth, and I would love to see them remain together. Please consider including both in your home. They were born sometime in March 2020, but I never received an exact date. They were rescued from a surprise litter of kitties. Lyra is the most outgoing and independent of the two. She is also small and delicate. She lays in the middle of the activity and watches. She doesn’t mind getting in the fort built by our children, and she is much more vocal for attention. She doesn’t mind being on her on in one room, but when she wants attention, she gets it! Meowing her way under your hand for rubs. Orion tends to be a little more shy. He is a big boy, nearly twice the size of his sister. He has a place under the couch where he can be close, but out of sight. Although, he can’t resist a blanketed lap and he curls up with you in the night. He tends to be a little harder to find through the day, especially if the house gets a little loud. I would imagine he might be more outgoing with a less noisy house, than one filled with multiple children. Both greet you at the door when you get home. Both are trained to a litter box and have not had any accidents in over a year. They don’t scratch furniture and have been trained to a cardboard scratcher. Neither have been outside, except the time Orion got spooked and ran outside and climbed the house to the roof. He has stayed away from open doors since that event! Both have been microchipped and spayed/neutered. They are due for their annual visit in the next 30 days. They both tested negative for feline leukemia, but have not been vaccinated for it, since they don’t go outside. Both have met a dog before when a friend visited. I didn’t see any fear associated with the meeting, but it was a short interaction. I don’t know how they would react in a house with a dog. Probably depends on the dog. There is a rehoming fee of $100. I will include their canned and dry food, their food and water bowls, their beds, their toys, and their current cardboard scratcher. I also have a couple of bags of litter. We are so disappointed to have to lose the kitties, but it is what is best for them. I don’t want to take them to the shelter because I’m afraid for their fate there. These cats are loved, and I want to make sure I get them to the best place where they will continue to be loved. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thank you
