Tonkin Collision Center, located in SE Portland, is one of the leading Certified Collision Centers in Oregon. We are growing rapidly so we are seeking out a Collision Estimator for immediate hire. Our Collision Estimators play a large role in our company because they’re one of the main points of contact for our guests and clients. A lot of our clients look to the Estimator to determine what they will get done to their vehicle. The Estimator will also play a large role in the warranty process. The ideal candidate is doing to be an individual with prior estimating experience with CCC1 Estimating Systems as well as good relationship-building skills. Collision Estimator Job Duties • Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. • Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. • Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. • Presents prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Collision Estimator Benefits and Compensation Commission-based: $60,000 - $100,000 per year. Collision Estimator Qualifications • 3 years of CCC1 Estimating System. • CDK experience is a plus.
