Dusky Goose is seeking an experienced intern to help in the production of world-class single vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Our small team is led by celebrated Willamette Valley Winemaker Lynn Penner-Ash and produced at the Carlton Winemakers Studio. This internship affords the chosen applicant the opportunity be involved with all aspects of harvest - vineyard sampling, lab analysis, cleaning, cap management, and barrel work. The Carlton Winemakers Studio is a unique winemaking environment where you will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from many other acclaimed Oregon Winemakers in addition to Lynn. Candidates must be prepared to work extended hours seven days a week while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and attention to detail. Candidates must provide their own lodging and transportation. Hourly pay rate is determined based on experience. Due to the tenuous state of the J1 Visa process, we are only considering candidates that are currently in the USA.
