We are a reputable floor maintenance company of 30 years that is known for quality floor care, being honest, trustworthy, friendly and most of all a group of hardworking folks. If you feel you can work nights, get along with others, respect your fellow staff and are a humble person (in other words you aren't a "Know it all"), this job might be for you. The company consists of 3 people at this time, and will grow to 5 by the and of the year, 8+ by the end of 2022. Get in on the growth and be proud of where you work. No experience necessary, we will train you if we feel you are the right person. Duties are the following: -Floor cleaning type of services - Strip and waxing, Scrubbing and re-coating, Buffing/Polishing, floor cleaning of all types. -You will follow our processes on how we do things, even if you have done floor care before. We do things our way and you must be willing to conform down to the smallest detail so we are all uniform in our processes. -Keeping company vans cleaned on a regular basis. -Keeping vans stocked of supplies. -Keeping the Shop clean. Floor maintenance technician position will require these attributes to be considered: -Team oriented person. -Friendly and honest personality. -Clean and neat appearance. -Clean language and attitude. We are a very ethical company. -Communicate and listen to instruction and execute. -Drug free - we test. -Able to pass criminal background check. -Physical abilities will require you to twist, squat, bend, lift 50-70 pounds on occasion -Follow safety protocols to work safely by yourself and around customers. -Work night shifts starting 6-7pm, finishing 6am. Hours will vary with workload. -Must be flexible with your schedule. Occasional day jobs come up. -Weekends working nights will be required. -Be on your feet all working hours. -Current driver's license with clean driving record, no more than 1 minor moving violation. Must maintain a clean driving record. You will be driving a company vehicle to jobs that our insurance will check your driving record before you can drive. -Ability to work alone and stay on task. -Speak, read and write in english a must. -Own a cell phone with ability to text at your cost. -Other requirements will be discussed in person. If you like to play the attendance game, or tend to call in sick, have issues that make you not able to work or are always needing time off for one thing or another, this job is NOT for you. As a small company what you do will effect the rest of the team and a team is only as strong as the weakest person. Our customers depend on us to show up and do the work as they get ready for us and if we don't show, we loose out on that work, which in turns means your position is no longer needed. We are a team company and help each other out to complete jobs. We are not desperate to hire, and looking to find the right person to join our team that will fit well in our company. You must prove yourself and will be on 90 day probation. After which we will evaluate if this line of work is for you and if you are the right person for us. We prefer that we are not your side job as we will require various nights of the week to schedule your working hours. This is a growing position. We will start you out as part-time for the first couple weeks and then move quickly to a regular full-time schedule. We want to make this a job that you will want to continue working for us if we feel you are the right fit for us.
