Immediate long-term / possible temp-to-hire openings for Production Assistants at a manufacturing company in Urbandale, IA. All 3 shifts available Monday – Friday (hours / schedule will vary depending on department and location). These positions include mandatory overtime and may include Saturday work on occasion. The Production Assistant will be loading / unloading parts onto machines, assisting machine operators, inspecting parts, gathering and assembling materials and various manufacturing duties as assigned. Pay is $13.00-$14.00 an hour depending on department. Requirements include: -One year recent and stable manufacturing work history required -Familiar with hand tools is a plus -Reliable transportation to the Urbandale area (NOT located near a bus line) -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis -Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time, bend, crouch, reach and grasp various items -Must be able to provide a pair of Steel Toe Boots To apply please stop by our office between the hours of 8:00 am-11:00 am or 1:00 pm-4:00 pm.
