Job description Madbury Property Management is a leading property management company that owns and operates a diverse portfolio of student housing, multi-family housing, and commercial properties throughout the Seacoast area. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician who is responsible for diagnosing maintenance issues, making necessary repairs and ensuring all resident service requests and other community maintenance is completed in a timely manner. Position Title: Maintenance Technician (Full-Time) Reports to: Facilities Manager Essential Functions: The following list of essential job functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented or changed as necessary. • Perform general maintenance tasks such as carpentry, light electrical/plumbing, painting for apartment renovations and refresh. • Assist with the scheduling and performance of all maintenance/repair-related turn events. • Work with Maintenance Supervisor to maintain an effective preventative maintenance program. • Maintain accurate records in work order management system. • Communicate effectively with residents, fellow employees, vendors and supervisors. • Comply with all personnel management policies and procedures. • Performs other duties as required by management. Specific Job Knowledge, Skill, Abilities: - Major appliances - Basic-Intermediate plumbing - Basic-Intermediate electrical (when no license required) - General carpentry - Landscaping - Ice/snow/ trash removal - General Facility/ Building Maintenance • Ability to handle after hours emergency calls, and be on-call as needed. • Possession of a valid, state-issued driver's license and safe driving record is also required. Physical Activities: Requires frequent lifting, pushing, and moving of up to 90 pounds when using machinery and equipment for essential maintenance tasks.
