Mountain Supply & Service has an immediate opening for a Service Technician at our Wheeling, WV facility. FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Direct Supervisor: Operations Manager Job Summary: Serves customers by evaluating and understanding their individual needs and formulating a plan to ensure customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Serves existing accounts by analyzing customer needs; planning daily travel schedule and communicates with management, support staff, and salespeople; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems. • Establishes service by studying customer requirements; ordering and gathering fluids and parts; completing and performing acceptance tests. • Supervises, trains, and leads shift personnel to complete operations within customer specifications, while adhering to all safety protocol. • Make sure all JSA’s for all jobs are conducted • Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions and suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements. • Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. • Documents service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. • Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential. • All other job duties and responsibilities as determined by management. Qualifications: • Must be 21 years of age • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Oilfield industry knowledge, troubleshooting issues and equipment maintenance a plus. • Able to lift 80-100 lbs. • Able to travel up and down ladders and across manifolds. • Able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and driver’s license. • Able to pass all company required physical and drug testing examinations. • Able to interpret and follow directions from a GPS. Work Environment: • Outside and exposed to the elements 80% of the time • Very dirty and dusty environment • Long drive times with potential for standby time • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals • Noise levels are moderate to loud Work Schedule and Benefits: • Varied Shift Schedule - May include nights, weekends and travel • Paid holidays, Paid time off, 401(k), Medical, Dental, LTD, STD, Life and Vision Insurance
