Hello Parents! I have more than 10 years of experience caring for kids. I have a in-home child care facility located on a quiet block, so there are no strangers coming in and out of our home. I live up the street from a park for those sunny day outings. I always have something planned for the children I care for. I believe in teaching kids and helping them learn new things through fun activities. I have plenty of reading books, as well as toys, in my home. I provide breakfast, lunch, drinks and nutritional snacks! I myself am a mother of 2 kids, and I know it isn't easy finding a care taker that you feel comfortable leaving your kids with. Placement is limited to maintain a low adult / child ratio so I can offer quality care. Also, a smaller ratio keeps the children from becoming overwhelmed, while yet still allowing children the opportunity to enjoy and have social interaction with their peers, in essence to build healthy meaningful relationships. The educational program includes a focus on cognitive, fine motor and tactile skills, sound exploration as well as counting / alphabet / colors / and numbers identification. Children are gently taught etiquette and manners; in stages, as the child's comprehension and skills develop. This is implemented by positive reinforcement of loving words, compliments and kind gestures. I will strive to be in tune with and meet your child's needs, to ensure that your child feels safe, happy and well taken care of. I believe you will be very satisfied here, as prior children have stayed from the time they were infants, until they graduated to Kindergarten. I continue to be very close to these families and we have built strong lasting relationships. References are available.
