Threshold Home Services has teamed up with Amazon and we are looking for an experienced Installation Technicians who can make the change to be an "In Home Assembly Technician - assembling customer purchased products through Amazon in customers' homes. To ensure success as an Assembly Technician, you should have sound mechanical knowledge, the ability to use hand and power tools, have exceptional communication skills and a passion for customer service. Ultimately, a top-class assembly technician provides expert services and dedicated support to all customers. Assembly Technician Responsibilities: -Traveling to customers' homes or places of business. -Assembling indoor and outdoor furniture, exercise equipment, as well as tv mounting. -Suggesting areas where equipment should be set up and where cords should be placed. -Verifying that the products are properly assembled, and testing all electronic equipment before customer use. -Providing customers with the manual which explains the written operating instructions for new equipment. -Cleaning up after the job is complete. Installation Technician Requirements: -Reliable transportation - you will be using your own vehicle to travel to these jobs. -Not required but a plus - Proven work experience as an installation technician -Excellent communication skills. -Ability to crouch, kneel and work in confined/open areas for extended periods. -Ability to lift objects up to 70 lbs -Common knowledge of modern power tools -Ability to solve problems and work with the customer in regards to defective/damaged products. -Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
