Pastry Cook interested in working in a manufacturing environment. Not a restaurant and not a small bakery shop. This is high production, repetitive work and large batches.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Properly measure recipes and follow instructions
mix, blend, operate machinery, bake, etc.
Keep storage clean and organized and products labeled properly
Keep refrigerator clean and organized and products labeled properly
Clean up machines, kitchen area, refrigerators when needed
keep up with paperwork for critical control points, thermometer calibration, temperatures, etc.
Pay close attention to detail and be able to identify if there's an issue with production.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have prior experience as a cook working is a fast pace environment 2 years experience
Be fast and efficient with very high energy.
Must be able to lift 50lbs multiple times a day.
Must have reliable transportation
Open availability and flexible schedule
Must be able to work clean and organized
Have stamina to be able to keep up with production demands
