A Maintenance person is needed for St. Andrew’s Place Assisted Living Community. The Maintenance person is required to ensure that our community is safe, attractive, and operating within the maintenance budget. This person would be responsible for the maintenance of the building, apartments, equipment, and grounds. Must be able to pass background and drug tests (including marijuana). This is a full- time position with benefits. This is a hands-on position and you should expect to get dirty! Preferred Requirements: Proficiency in basic carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing. Ability to perform resident room renovation. Must be familiar with fire and life safety prevention equipment. Required to perform preventative maintenance on all building equipment. Must have basic reporting and organizational skills. Must be capable of maintaining full time attendance. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public. Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly. Must be able to lift 50 plus pounds. Must meet all health requirements, including TB.
