apply here The Position(s): Utley's is seeking to the roll of color matching supervisor. A GREAT color eye, and knowledge of how to create and shift colors are essential. Working with people to develop/match colors and helping approve colors. -Primarily matching paints and dyes for spraying and application, with HVLP and airbrush. -Helping others with their colors, and approving colors A Full Time, Long Term position. Training, develop and lots of opportunities to grow. A supportive, hardworking, creative, hands-on team. The position would require the candidate to approve colors, match colors by eye, and using a color system, secondarily spray, mask, sand, polish and buff models, machined parts (acrylic and aluminum), 3D prints, and urethane castings, using various tools and machinery, apply deco and transfers etc. The hours would be 8am to 4.45pm Monday through Friday plus overtime (which is sometimes required early morning or weekend). Overtime is paid after 40 hours each week at 1.5 time rate. Compensation will be hourly and competitive. With overtime paid, a 401k with discretionary matching and full health insurance also provided. The Candidate: Experience in the field of color matching, finishing (sanding and polishing) or spraying (lacquer based or polyurethane based) a strong plus. The candidate must be happy to help and direct people. Good communication. The candidate will be detail oriented, will be able to take direction well, and thrive in a busy and high pace environment, and HAVE A GREAT EYE FOR COLOR The candidate should be punctual and reliable, this position will be a key part of the team, and requires both good verbal communication skills and the ability to read a job write up and translate it into actionable tasks. English must be of an excellent standard (if not a first language).
