A Manhattan-based restaurant group is kicking off a very exciting renovation of an iconic and landmarked property in Lower Manhattan. We're seeking an experienced Facilites Porter to assist with day-to-day operations, organization, and management while we prepare to bring Contractors in for the construction phase. You will be the person who keeps the facility clean, organized, and safe. Job responsibilities will entail: - Packing and organization duties - Moving equipment, furniture, and chairs with other team members - Cleaning duties including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, etc - Providing vendors with access to the space as needed - Receive, properly log, and notify package recipients of deliveries - Handyman skills a huge plus! Requirements: - Ability to work alone and within a team - Strong attention to detail - Strong communication skills - Reliable - Honest - Comfortable with technology (texting, apps, etc) This is not a job. This is for someone looking to build a career. Someone who wants to learn new skills, work in a fun, innovative environment, and to have fun while doing it! Pay starts at $20 but can quickly go to $23-25/hour if you are the right fit.
