We are looking for a Plumbing Technician to join our team! You will work as a 1099 self-employed sub-contractor at 40%+ commission. You will be required to commute to residential and commercial jobs in and around the Boston area. Sub-contractors are provided leads and bids for residential and commercial jobs and are expected to have the knowledge to complete these jobs to a reasonable extent. 40%+ commission on all profits made. As an independent contractor, you will be paid out weekly on Fridays for jobs closed the week prior. Sent jobs/leads regularly to equal 40+ hours per week. Job Requirements: 1 year experience in Plumbing (residential and commercial). Willingness to work as a 1099 sub contractor. Have and maintain a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation as well as tools/equipment necessary to fulfill job requirements. Job Responsibilities: Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes. Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders. Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, water heaters, water softeners, etc. Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies. Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems. Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical work as required.
