North Shore Mechanical Contractors, an employee-owned company is looking for a Plumbing Laborer. JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide support for the foreman and plumbers on a construction site (locations vary). Handling of material, tools and equipment. Be a fire watch for mechanics while they perform hot work activities. Perform miscellaneous tasks that do not require a licensed plumber such as coring, fire stop,valve tags and pipe markers. SKILLS REQUIRED: NFPA certified, must be able to lift and move at least 50 lbs. RESPONSIBILITY OF POSITION: To reduce the work load of the plumbers on the job site by gathering and organizing material, bringing material in and out of jobs, performing duties that can be done by non-licensed personnel. LICENSES/SPECIAL TRAINING: osha 10, hazcom, electrical safety. METRICS: Will be evaluated monthly by the foreman on their job site. Will have bi-annual reviews.
