This course certifieed for 4 P.O.S.T. hours teaches responders how to respond to and manage livestock transportation accidents for safety.
Course addresses scene management, animal handling, extrication, and portable equipment use to provide rapid reopening of traffic lanes while handling livestock in a manner to reduce loss. The P.O.S.T. certified course is designed for law enforcement, fire respinders, animal officials and thraffic safety entities who are responsible for accident response. Instruction will include scene management, livestock handling, portable corral containment, some veterinary issues and if needed euthanasia guidelines.
