Gold Star Mother’s Day is observed on the last Sunday in September. This year it is on September 26, and the JBLM recogntion day will be held Saturday, September 18.
Gold Star Mother’s Day is intended to recognize and honor those mothers who have lost a son or daughter in the service of the U.S. Armed Forces.JBLM Survivor Outreach Services provides support and brings Survivors together. For more information about this event, program or resources, please call 253-966-5047.
JBLM Directorate of Personnel and Family Readiness (DPFR) houses programs and services to support Servicemembers, Family members, DoD Civilians, Retirees and Survivors. We are a combination of Army Community Service (ACS) and Airman & Family Readiness Center (A&FRC) programs.
