We offer the Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certificate Programs for those who want to prepare to become a substance abuse counselor. We also provide continuing education units for drug counselors who are already certified. Certified alcohol and drug counselors work within an array of settings, such as outpatient/residential drug treatment centers, hospitals, colleges, churches, and government agencies. If you ever dreamed of being in the helping field, now is the time! Substance abuse is a chronic and widespread problem in our society that affects people of all ages and from all walks of life. People who struggle with substance abuse and other addictions often lose control of their jobs, relationships and their lives.
