Orientation for the inaugural UCANN program UCANN (Unique Community and Neighborhood Network) is a personal development program that provides #youth with the necessary tools to become champions of #nonviolence through #civic and #community engagement activities. This Saturday we kick things off with our first orientation! Session 1 is for the 14-17 year old participants from 4-5:30pm. Session 2 is for the 18-23 year old participants from 6-7:30pm. Here at UCANN, we understand in order to develop vibrant, innovative and safe communities we must provide young people with a seat at the table to share their unique perspectives and innovative ideas, as well as connection to #resources and a platform to advocate and make necessary change in their community.
