We previously planned for a visit Himalayan Restaurant in April 2020. The pandemic slowed that down but now it's time to try again! Culture.CLE is a monthly dinner series that helps Clevelanders experience cultures and cuisines from around the world. Every month, we visit a new country through a fun ethnic dinner series centered around highlighting local immigrant and refugee-owned culinary businesses. This August, we visit a local Nepalese gem called Himalayan Restaurant, named after the mountain range upon which the country is settled. Their menu is derived from it's owners roots with authentic dishes from both India and Nepal. Tickets will include: - Dinner served buffet style (you will try basmati rice, naan, samosa, Himalayan chilli chicken, lamb curry, tadka dal, aloo gobi, saag paneer, goat momo, chicken makhani, mango lassi and gajar ka halwa). - A cooking demonstration of momo! - Conversation and Q & A with the owner and chef - Access to a full bar (available for purchase) Proceeds from this event go to benefit Cleveland Global Shapers.
