Awake, presented by jHUB, is the Shabbat experience making in-person community the new thing to do...again
Awake is a spiritual experience for young adults in the Greater Cleveland area. Grounded in Judaism's thousands-year-old wisdom, Awake is an opportunity to come together in a community in which you can celebrate Shabbat with an evening filled with good food and good company. If you are looking for a Shabbat experience that helps you to wind down from a busy week and uplifts your spirit with song, then Awake is for you.
To offset concerns about COVID and weather, we are headed outdoors! Located under a rented tent on the lawn at The Edison at Gordon Square, we will be welcoming Shabbat with the blue waters of Lake Erie nearby. Any precautions due to COVID will be emailed out the week of the event.
Awake strives to be fully accessible and inclusive, where every person feels welcome, regardless of their background and knowledge. If you have questions about physical accessibility or if you have any food sensitivities, please email [email protected].
Schedule:
6:30pm - Nourishment
7:30pm - Community

Cost: $10 per person which covers Shabbat dinner. RSVP required.
Email Rabbi Chase at [email protected] with any questions or food sensitivies.
