Rain dates will be announced for a Thursday or Sunday. Admission Is Still Only $15.00 Per Person with open seating options available or as Tables Of Two = $30., Four = $60., Six = $90., and Eight = $120 Eric Alexander: Tenor Saxophone. Alexander began as a classical musician, studying alto saxophone at Indiana University with Eugene Rousseau in 1986. He soon switched to jazz and the tenor saxophone, however, and transferred to William Paterson University, where he studied with Harold Mabern, Rufus Reid, Joe Lovano, Gary Smulyan, Norman Simmons, Steve Turre and others. Alexander first achieved fame by finishing second (behind Joshua Redman) at the 1991 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition. He was quickly signed and began recording albums. Alexander has worked with many jazz musicians, including Chicago pianist Harold Mabern, bassist Ron Carter, drummer Idris Muhammad, and guitarist Pat Martino. He is part of Mike LeDonne's Groover Quartet with Peter Bernstein, and Joe Farnsworth. He has recorded and toured extensively with the sextet, One for All. Michael Camacho: Drums. 28-year-old Michael Camacho is quickly making a name for himself in the NYC area. The Norwalk CT native has played with a host of jazz’s elder statesmen throughout his first 5 years living in Queens, NY. Some musicians with who he has performed and recorded with Don Hahn, Christian Mcbride, Ralph Lalama, Eric Alexander, Joe Magnarelli, David Dejesus, Donald Vega, Gary Smulyan, David Budway, Alexis Cole, and many others. He has performed at venues across the tri-state area, among them Smalls, Fat Cat, Mezzrow, Smoke, Zinc Bar, Newport Jazz Festival, and has also been featured on WBGO Jazz radio. Alec Safy: Bass. Alec is a native of Buffalo, New York, and a current resident of the Bronx. He attended SUNY Purchase where he studied privately with Doug Weiss, Scott Colley, and Todd Coolman. Alec has had the opportunity to perform with Gary Smulyan, Jon Faddis, Pete Malinverni, Clifford Barbaro, Don Hahn, Ralph Lalama, Bobby Militello, and more. He's worked across the United States, in Canada, and Southeast Asia (including performances at the Hong Kong International Jazz Festival, Beishan Jazz Festival, and Hanoi Opera House) and has been heard around NYC at clubs such as Smalls, Smoke, the Jazz Forum, Zinc Bar, and Fat Cat David Zaks: Piano. Born in Hoboken, NJ in 1992 and based in the NYC area his entire life, pianist David Zaks performs domestically and internationally with some of the finest jazz musicians in the world. He has performed with JD Allen, Winard Harper, Bill Easley, Mark Gross, Kenyatta Beasley, Duane Eubanks, Warren Vache, Gene Perla, Mark Johnson, John Mosca, Don Hahn, and Antoinette Montague, among many others, in venues such as Carnegie Hall, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Smoke Jazz Club, Mezzrow, Mintons Playhouse, Shanghai Jazz Restaurant, Fat Cat, and Bergen Performing Arts Center. He is currently based in Jersey City, NJ, and is working on a solo piano album that he plans to release in 2022. We're sorry, there are no refunds after tickets have been purchased. In the event of rain or other forms of weather which prohibits an outdoor performance, the rain date performance will be held on a furure Thursday or Sunday to be announced. If the rain date becomes postponed because of weather, a future alternate weather date will be picked.
