The documentary “Dasledchiki” tells about the youth of today and its attitude towards WWII. A Future Archives Series presentation IVAN (Russia, 2021) FREE (Suggested Donation $5 for reserved seating) Synopsis: The documentary “Dasledchiki” tells about the youth of today and its attitude towards the Great Patriotic War. The main character goes from Russian city to Belarusian village where, together with his friend, he finds out how his great-grandfather, being a child, was taken to the German concentration camp. Uneasy life in village, joint effort, rest, rafting down the river in search of the village burnt by the German maintain and strengthen the guys’ friendship. Recollections of alive participants of past events let the guys to open the mysteries of the past, you cannot read about. Director: Sergey Masalskiy Genre: Documentary Language: Russian (with English subtitles) ---Doors open 15 minutes before screening. Please arrive 15 minutes early to place drink/food orders.
