Garden with us on Tuesday nights!! Our Garden with Friends program will begin on June 8 with a garden blessing and work party. This program will occur on Tuesday evenings through August 17 and cover a range of topics from composting, gardening, trail clean up, and art activities. The program time is 5-7 pm. Our high school interns will help us with these projects and even lead a couple of the sessions, topics TBD! Children and teens under 18 years of age are welcome and encouraged to attend, but must be accompanied by an adult. Below is a loose schedule for each of the sessions: July 20 - Indigo dying (bring something you'd like to dye!)July 27 - REGISTRATION FULLAugust 3 - Community Compost Build (bring your food scraps our compost pile!)August 10 - Internship led project (Cohort #2)August 17 - Tivoli clean up on trailsAugust 24 - Painting with Plants w/Kim and Flower Pressing with KTThese sessions are free, but donations are gladly accepted. We are using eventbrite to collect pre-registrations and donations, so just follow the steps for registering and making a donation (suggested donation is $5). However, if you'd like to pre-register and want to have a free ticket, please use this link to request a free ticket if you need. ♥ RSVPs are helpful for supplies, but drop-ins are welcome! Your donations help support our project! Donations are used towards paying educators, animal costs, art and garden supplies which are all used in the Preserve. ♥ COVID-19 Protocol: Participants must be free of COVID related symptoms. Please note, if you are showing signs of COVID related symptoms and cannot attend a session, you will have the option to request a refund of your donation.We will ask participants to maintain social distance (6′) from one another.Mask policy ~ We kindly ask that you wear a mask while working alongside others and within enclosed spaces. Please feel welcome to remove your mask when socially distant. It is our goal to create a safe and inclusive space to connect with ourselves, each other and the Earth. We recognize that everyone within our community has different health needs and access to health care. Because of this FTLPF has decided to maintain its mask policy.
