By working with the public and those managing public lands, the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics focuses on educating people—instead of costly restoration programs or access restrictions—as the most effective and least resource-intensive solution to land protection." - www.lnt.org Haley Cottey is a Leave No Trace Trainer and will be facilitation a fun and interactive Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop at Oak Cliff Nature Preserve. We will play games, discus LNT principles and we will have some hiking and plenty of water and ways to cool off. You will walk away hopefully with even more love and respect for these outdoor spaces than you already had as well as an LNT awareness certificate and other educational materials that you can utilize yourself and share with your friends so we can all continue to enjoy these outdoor spaces. After the workshop, everyone is welcome to head to Oak Cliff Brewery for some refreshing beer (or drink of choice). Our mission is to get everyone outside and inspiring them to Explore MORE.
