The RVC will build community at the neighborhood level and actively participate in Centro’s mission - join us for the kick-off info session! Centro’s mission is to make downtown more beautiful, playful, welcoming, and prosperous in the spirit of San Antonio. The committee will focus on the downtown neighborhood primarily but will collaborate with neighbors and neighborhood organizations surrounding downtown. It may work in support of the Downtown Residents Association, which is officially recognized by the City of San Antonio. The committee will have the opportunity to educate, discuss and provide feedback for various policies, regulations, or projects that impact the downtown neighborhood. It may also work with partners on community development opportunities that benefit downtown residents. Centro San Antonio is a nonprofit placemaking organization who's purpose is to create a more beautiful, welcoming, playful, and prosperous downtown in the spirit of San Antonio.
