Reservations for this evening strongly suggested. Limited seated. In his acclaimed debut as a filmmaker, Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson presents this powerful and transporting documentary. Part music film, part historical record, Summer of Soul captures the creative energy and defiance of Black music and culture at a time when "revolution was in the air." It's special to experience Summer of Soul at Revolution Books. We are now in a rare time, like the 1960s, when revolution becomes possible.
