Description

Students will strengthen writing skills and learn about creative writing through writing songs, poems, and comic books! Writing shouldn't feel like a chore. This Emergent Writer course focuses on a project-based learning methodology, in which students will complete fun writing projects, specifically designed to strengthen students' writing skills. Students will learn about creative writing through writing songs and poems, narrative writing through comic books, information writing through the creation of a board game, and be able to practice argumentative writing through debate.
