Join us at 6 pm on July 19 and August 16 at the Cultivate Hope Urban Farm to learn how Beetle Banks can provide a pesticide-free way to keep harmful pests out of gardens using strips of perennial native grasses and wildflowers. The urban farm is located at 437 G Ave. NW in Cedar Rapids. Matthew 25 is an independent, local nonprofit organization in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It exists to strengthen core neighborhoods on the west side of Cedar Rapids and to provide opportunities for people to act on their values through service. Matthew 25's vision is to help create thriving, connected communities where all people are valued and talents are multiplied. It is a highly innovative and collaborative organization that helps to revitalize neighborhoods through the three building blocks of food, housing, and education.
