Job Responsibilities • Understand packing demands for the upcoming work. • Determine the most efficient and effective ways to pack product. Knowing what materials will be used and how prior to packing. • Identify manpower needs. Manpower will be determined by Production Scheduler as well as Production Supervisor. It will be the responsibility of the Line Packing Lead to identify and communicate any changes to previously assigned manpower. • Problem solving and troubling shooting skills to ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take effective action to resolve the problems. • Completion of paperwork including proper counting of parts. • Ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all members of team. • Ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the companies Health and safety policy. • Manage, develop, and motivate direct reporting team with the assistance of the Production Supervisor. • Monitoring packing supplies and submit order request to purchasing when supplies run low. • Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace. • Shutting Conveyor Line and prebake over equipment down at the end of shift. Turn off burner on prebake. • Maintain high level of timekeeping is the essence including scheduled breaks and lunches. • All other assign duties.
