Looking for Dog/cat for my relocating to GB again

Decided to move back to Green Bay after lockdown happened. Decided now that I have place set up I want to get a pet dog or cat. DO NOTE : If it is a cat it must not have too much of a habit at clawing on furniture. My leather furniture can't really be used by cats for that. *smile* Would love to find a black cat. DO NOTE: If it is a dog it can't be too much over 35lbs due to complex regulations. I live in a senior/disability complex so there is not too much action in hallways, especially in my hallway area with most handicap and use of wheelchair/scooter. However, the dog can't be a so called, "barker". *chuckle* *smile* Someone knocks at door it's cool if dog barks, but not anytime it hears someone walking down hallway or wheelchair/scooter rolling by. Once again, would love to find a black or black mix dog but either way just as long as trained and people friendly. I am home a lot aside from my volunteer work that I do. Put the word bark or meow if you can in reply so I know its real- THANKS
