Description
PATCHOGUE, NY — The first Sundown Festival — one of three family-friendly events — will kick off in Patchogue on Thursday.
It will run from 5 to 9:30 p.m. along Main Street.
Road closures are expected from Maple Avenue to West Avenue, including South Ocean and Railroad Avenue starting at 4 p.m. so that vendors can prep for the festival.
The event, which has been organized by the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce and the Young Professionals of Patchogue, will feature live five live music stages, activities, a variety of craft food vendors, retail vendors, family-oriented entertainment, and Patchogue's farmers market, according to the chamber's website.
There will be outdoor dining, but "no drinking pens,' organizers said.
The Patchogue Arts Council Ratgrrl's Vendor Circus will be taking over a section of Main Street with "curated vendors, live painting, and family-friendly experiences," according to its website.
